Huntington County Traffic Court Records
Which court holds your ticket? Huntington County local rules send ordinary infractions and ordinance violations to Huntington Superior Court, court identifier 35D01, unless a companion felony pulls the case into Circuit Court. The official court list shows no working municipal or town court in the county. Older citations and portal screens may still mention the abolished Huntington/Roanoke Town Court.
The traffic court record is the case file behind the citation. Public entries can reveal the police agency, the court, the case number, CCS events, settings, a plea or disposition, orders, and payment history. The Clerk's Traffic and Criminal Violations topic is the local records route. Trust the court named by ePay or MyCase over the town where the stop happened.
Huntington County ePay Fields
The Indiana ePay Public Access portal gives you three ways to search. Enter a citation, a name, or a case number. A payable ticket comes back with the police agency, the court, and the case number. The portal itself warns it is not the official court record, so treat a hit as a pointer to the real court file.
| Search by | Required fields | Result use |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket (UTT) # | Ticket or UTT text | Best match when the citation is in hand |
| Driver's License # | License-number text | Alternate search route in ePay |
| Name and Date of Birth | First, last, DOB; middle optional | Fallback when the ticket number is unknown |
A result can display name, address, ticket date, police agency, court, and case number, plus a View link. Refine Search and New Search let you run another query. Keep any protected personal data out of anything you publish.
Looking Up a Traffic Ticket
Begin with the number on the citation itself, printed or electronic. A Uniform Traffic Ticket may read UTT 123456789, while the filed court case might look like 35D01-2026-IF-000123. The two numbers link to one matter, but they are not interchangeable labels.
- Search ePay by UTT number and note the returned court and case number.
- Open MyCase and search the case number or citation number.
- Check the CCS for settings, orders, disposition, and public financial entries.
- Call the Huntington County Clerk at (260) 358-4817 for the official balance, payment status, and copy route.
- Contact Superior Court at (260) 358-4852 when the question concerns the hearing or court instruction.
- Visit Room 201 or use the courthouse terminal when the online services do not return the record.
Confirm mail or fax acceptance with the clerk before you send a payment or filing. The court offers no general email, dropbox, private vendor, or bulk traffic feed.
When Huntington Tickets Are Missing
When a ticket will not come up, several things could be behind it. The cause may be timing, a wrong identifier, a different court, or an access restriction. The case may simply not be payable online. Search the citation field in MyCase. Strip the hyphens from the case number. Then check the police agency and due date on the citation. After that, call the clerk.
The assigned MyCase document-access source explains why online access and full courthouse access are not the same thing.

A blank screen erases nothing. It does not cancel a Huntington County court date or prove the citation was never filed.
How to Find Your Traffic Court Date
Open the MyCase case detail and read the latest setting, then every CCS entry after it. Huntington County posts no separate public daily calendar URL for traffic. A CCS hearing entry helps, but confirm with the court after a continuance, a transfer, or a brand-new filing.
| Date and time | When the setting begins; check for a later reset. |
|---|---|
| Court and judge | Usually Huntington Superior for an ordinary local infraction. |
| Location | Courtroom or office stated in the event or notice. |
| Setting type | Initial appearance, hearing, trial, compliance, or another event. |
| Status | Scheduled, continued, cancelled, or completed when shown. |
For a same-day setting, call Superior at (260) 358-4852 or the Clerk at (260) 358-4817. A phone check never substitutes for a written filing, required notice, or showing up in person.
Huntington County Court Route
Two local quirks cause routing mistakes. First, the current state directory lists Huntington Superior for the ordinary infraction path. No current Roanoke Town Court appears there. Second, the county deferral form still lists Roanoke Town Court in its dropdown. That leftover label looks like legacy data. Check it with the Prosecuting Attorney's Office or the Clerk.
The assigned official Census incorporated-place table shows Huntington, Roanoke, Warren, Markle, and Andrews as towns. None of them is a separate current traffic court.

The town on a citation adds context. The court and case number still control where the Huntington County record lives.
Pay or Contest a Ticket
Paying, entering a plea, asking for a hearing, and seeking deferral each carry different legal effects. ePay may show Admit, Nolo Contendere, opt-out, or court-configured deferral controls. Availability depends on the ticket and the court, so do not expect a button on every Huntington County citation.
| Choice | What to verify first | Next record |
|---|---|---|
| Pay through ePay | Correct court, case, balance, eligibility, and due date | Payment receipt and later CCS update |
| Contest | Court instructions, plea route, setting, and filing method | Notice, motion, or hearing entry |
| Seek deferral | Prosecutor eligibility, deadline, fee, and terms | Program response and court case status |
Do not ignore a missed due date or setting. Contact the clerk and court at once because added process, interception, or suspension steps may follow.
The court's current instructions control. A portal selection is not personal legal advice.
Huntington County Deferral Form
The county Traffic Infraction Deferral form sends a request for consideration to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Expect fields for identity and contact details. You will also enter driver license number and state, ticket and due dates, court, cited speed, and speed zone. Email and the date of a last completed deferral are optional.
Nothing on the form states an eligibility test. There is no listed fee, deadline, payment method, or promised response time. Submitting starts a review; approval is a separate outcome. The stale Roanoke court choice deserves a direct confirmation too. Save proof of what you sent. Keep watching the pending court date unless the court says otherwise.
Traffic Court Record vs Driving Record
The Huntington County court file and the state driving record are two different records. The court docket answers which court received the citation, what was filed, when the case is set, and how the court resolved it. The state licensing agency keeps the driving record. Different custodians, different purposes.
| Record | Custodian | Typical contents |
|---|---|---|
| Traffic court case | Huntington County Clerk / court | Citation link, CCS, settings, orders, disposition, court financial entries |
| Driving record | Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles | Agency-maintained driver history and status |
Go to the Clerk for the official Huntington County case and its current balance. Go to the BMV only for that agency's separate record. Neither ePay nor MyCase stands in for the official record of the office that created it.
Huntington County eCWS Flow
Indiana's Electronic Citation and Warning System sends citation data to courts, the BMV, and agencies. The practical path is Citation → Court case → CCS setting → Plea or hearing → Disposition → Payment or compliance. A delay or mismatch between stages can explain why one public screen changes before another.
The ICOR statistics portal, pictured in the assigned image, is a different statewide system.

ICOR tracks activity by county and report type. It has no way to pull up a named Huntington County ticket, so treat it as a broad overview rather than a docket search tool.
When the system itself breaks, Indiana Court Technology posts (888) 275-5822 for technical help.
Copies and Fees
In ePay, you may see checkboxes for a Ticket and a Copy of Ticket. The official interface lists the copy at $1.00 where available. But it cannot sell you a copy for an under-18 ticket. And what you get is a portal copy. It is not necessarily a certified court-file copy of the record.
| Item | Amount | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| ePay ticket copy | $1.00 when available | Not offered there for an under-18 ticket |
| Plain court-file copy | Not published in reviewed county sources | Confirm with Clerk |
| Certified court copy | Not published | Ask Clerk for current total and process |
| Deferral program | Not stated on county form | Do not guess a fee or eligibility term |
Only ask for a certified copy when you truly need that level of authentication. Before mailing anything, call Room 201 about payment and delivery.
Huntington County Unpaid Ticket Steps
Indiana's tax-intercept guidance covers unpaid traffic tickets. An unpaid ticket in an Odyssey court can be sent for tax-refund interception. The Department of Revenue may add a 10 percent processing fee. Its notice also gives a 30-day period to pay. A BMV suspension can stay in place until both payment and court notice are complete.
These are statewide consequences. They are not a claim that every open Huntington County ticket has reached that stage. Read the notice, the court case, the clerk balance, and any BMV letter together. Send a case payment to the originating court, never to a federal office.
The assigned Northern District bankruptcy court source covers a wholly separate federal court.

A federal bankruptcy page will not carry Huntington Superior traffic dockets, even when one person's finances touch two court systems at once. Go back to the county court docket for the ticket itself.
